This week in topic we were learning about the Battle of Hastings. We were discussing what happened after Edward the confessor’s death in 1066. We learnt about the lead up to the historic battle and what happened during it. Everyone retold the story in a comic strip, recording all the extra details.
“I really enjoyed finding out about the battle of Hastings,” said Heloise.
“It was a great idea to capture what happened in the battle using pictures. The end design looks wonderful. I am really enjoying this myths and legends topic,” said Xanthe.
I think we are in full agreement that this lesson was really fun and informative.
