Christingle

On Tuesday, we virtually joined Daniel and Eva at St Margaret’s Church for our annual Christingle service.

At the start of the service, some pupils chose to join in with the sign of peace.

Here is what some of our pupils said when they reflected on the service:

My teacher made a Christingle. I remember doing it in Year 1 but I was reminded that the orange represents the world and the candle represents Jesus. Walter, Year 2.

I enjoyed it. It was good to learn about Jesus. Charley, Year 4.

I learned something new – the Christingle has only been happening for 50 years. The sweets and raisins represent the four seasons and harvest. Jo, Year 5.
