On Tuesday morning we went to St Margaret’s church for our annual Christingle service.
Christingle is a candle-lit, festive celebration that’s perfect for bringing families and communities together. The celebration is named after the Christingles that are lit during the celebration.
‘We sang songs, had readings from the Bible, lit candles and Daniel told us all about what the Christingle meant’ Eric, Year 5
‘The red ribbon represents the blood of Jesus, the sweets were the harvest and the candle is Jesus as the light of the world’ Sissi Year 5.
Thank-you to all who have sent in donations in the Christingle candle donation boxes, which will be given to The Children’s Society.
