Wonder Walk of Oxford
As part of the Classic Fantasy project, Years 5 & 6 explored the world of JRR Tolkien, CS Lewis and Lewis Carroll through a walking tour of Oxford – exploring the everyday lives of the authors, and where they lived and worked. They visited various sites around the city, learning about the inspirations behind the exciting worlds of Middle-Earth, Narnia and Wonderland. It was a very enjoyable and interesting trip and the children have used it to further inspire and envelop them in the world of the fantasy genre.
