This week, it is National Insect Week and Group Y, Miss Maund and Mr Villalba have been studying a book called Du Iz Tak? by Carson Ellis. It is a picture book told in bug language and you need to infer what is happening by using the pictures and recognising repeated words. We then used this to make insect information PowerPoints and games, construct 3d paper wasps, bees and flies from Darrell Wakelam’s paper projects and do some nature weaving.
