The children were excited to find carpets of snowdrops all over our Forest School site, as well as the daffodils nearly ready to burst into colour. The children just seemed to embrace the freedom to explore and play together. The highlight however was not the beautiful sunshine or the deep puddles but the change to toast marshmallows around the campfire. The concentration on the children’s faces was immense to ensure the marshmallows turned out just right.
