We have been learning more about Frida Kahlo and why she is seen as so inspirational. She fought against stereotypes, including being a woman and being disabled, to do what she wanted – painting – and showed the world her emotions and personality through her self-portraits.
We have been creating some self-portraits that depict our personality in Art too using the medium of collage. Here is a snapshot, but they are all displayed in the classroom!
