Group Y (Years 3 and 4) have been studying Lights On Cotton Rock this week. We designed and made models for a stop frame animation movie and looked at how films such as Wallace and Gromit were made.
Here are some examples of their films. Most of these short films took 2 hours to make and somewhere between 100-500 still photos! We discussed the importance of small movements and keeping the camera absolutely still. Some of us found it trickier than others, but Miss Maund and Mr Villalba were still proud of all of us.
Why don’t you have a go at home?
We also got a tweet from the author in response to our work!
