Harvest Experience

This year, our annual harvest festival was a little different.

Over two days, St Margaret’s church hosted a Harvest Experience for each class to attend.

Elli and Edmond in Year 1 said ‘We were learning about humility and patience.’

‘There were five stations around the church. We reflected on why it is important to have things, like sheep for wool and milk. We said a prayer’. Abigail, Year 3.

Henry in Year 6 said: ‘There were five stations in the church, Harvest of the ocean, garden, grain, flock and earth. We learned to be thankful about what we have’.

When 6B returned to school, they wrote reflections on what they had experienced in church, creating an effective values display.
