Our new topic is “Cold Places” we will be looking at lots of different cold countries and and winter weather.
Yesterday we had great fun and we made icicles.
We put water into a paint pot, we added leaves and berries for decoration and then we froze them. It would have been great if the weather was colder and we could have watched them freeze but we had to put them in the freezer.
Once they were solid ice we hung them up in the bushes and branches around the playground. They looked really good and it was great to see the water dripping away. 
We now know that the temperature at the moment is too warm to make ice and it is warm enough to melt ice quickly!
