Today Phil & Jim celebrated the Queen’s 70 years on the throne with a fun-filled and royalty-themed day. The morning started with an assembly on the Queen’s life, followed by cake-baking, trifle-making, flag designing and paint-printing across the school. At lunch the children had a delicious picnic, and the afternoon was filled with further jubilee activities, ending with a whole school quiz.
The children really embraced our Jubilee celebrations, coming into school dressed for the occasion! Well done to everyone for your enthusiasm for today, and a special shout-out to Mrs Ponsonby, who won best-dressed teacher!
