Last week Year 2 was the scene of a dastardly crime. Having started the term excited by the appearance of exquisite paintings in the Year 2 classrooms, the children were dismayed to find, on return from break, that the wonderful works of art had been stolen and the classrooms upended. The children were desperate to find the culprit and bring them to justice and decided to write detailed descriptions of the villain to be circulated around the school on wanted posters. The children also felt it necessary to replace the missing art with their own versions and decided to recreate the paintings themselves.
