As part of our topic this term we have been learning about the castle complex in Oxford city centre. Our learning has covered the origins of the castle and its history, how its usage has changed over time and how it has developed as a site. This week the children have been planning, cutting, sticking, painting and measuring to create their own models of the Motte and Bailey aspect of the castle. See pictures below:
