In art this week, we learned different techniques and ways of using oil pastels. We used these skills to create an enormous mosaic of Hokusai’s ‘The Great Wave’. Each child made a section of the picture and we pieced it together to create one giant artwork.
“I liked the way we worked together to create a masterpiece. It was great fun!” says Xanthe, a pupil in class 6J. “I definitely think it was a great way to spend an afternoon.”
