Today, we held our first Science Career Fair, organised for the KS2 pupils, and ran by volunteer parents, who are specialists in a variety of scientific fields of study. It was such an enjoyable event, with the children tremendously engaged and excited by what they were discovering. We had a whole range of sciences represented: engineering; regenerative medicine; nanopore technology; biochemistry; physics; AI and data science. The event was held in the school hall, and the children were able to go around all the parents carousel-style, who answered their many varied and investigative questions.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the parents who volunteered their time and expertise – it was hugely appreciated by both staff and pupils.
