As sports relief week has continued the activities have brought the added edge of competition. On Wednesday the staff and Year 6 children competed in a keenly contested game of Netball.
Thursday saw year 5 battle Year 6 in a football match and on Friday children were invited to come to school dressed in sports kit, with all donations going to Sports Relief.
Additionally, Years 2,3 and 4 took part in a ‘Tennis Roadshow’ on Friday. This was provided by Premier Tennis, we hope to be able to repeat the day for years 1,5 and 6 later in the year. EYFS also took part in an obstacle course, assisted by L4. It was great fun and the children worked really well together.
It has been a joy to see the children throwing themselves into sporting activities with enthusiasm and zeal, congratulations to all. We hope that you have enjoyed hearing about their exploits.
