This week, all the children took part in our much anticipated Sports Week, and it was wonderful to see their enthusiasm and enjoyment. We were also all very impressed with the children’s sportsmanship – they certainly displayed our school values across the week. Thank you to all the parents who attended the Sports events, and a special thank you to Mr Ansell for organising and running the days.
Sports Week was drenched in drama and fun! There were many fun carousel activities, especially the javelin and the egg and spoon timed race. The afternoon races made us feel nervous, but we used our nerves to run faster! We also enjoyed watching and cheering during the grown-ups’ race; we had never seen so many men and women race so fast!
