Yesterday evening, many pupils from Phil & Jim performed in the Summer Music Concert at St Margaret’s church. We heard the talents of pupils from Years 2-6 playing a variety of instruments, including: violin, cello, piano, guitar and even the bassoon! Everyone performed so well and showed such courage in being able to play in front of an audience. One of the soloists, Theo, from the choir said: “I think it went very well. There were a few mistakes but overall the crowd loved it!”
The choir sang four songs: Build Me Up Buttercup, Here Comes the Sun, The Aeroplane and Happy Ending; our audience really enjoyed all of them. Lourenco, Year 3, said, “I found it very entertaining to see quite a few children demonstrate their talents on instruments. It went very well.”
Parents and family members came to watch and everyone enjoyed it, leaving with a smile on their faces. Bea and Toby both claimed that the concert went really well and the musical performances were thoroughly enjoyed!
