On Sunday 19th May, the winners of the writing competition, organised by the Friends of the Trap Grounds, were presented with their prizes. You can see the winning pieces of writing below, which were on display at the prize giving. Congratulations to all the winners.
As part of the event, there were lots of different activities for the children to take part in. Pond dipping was very popular and, whilst some children from our school were doing this, they discovered something very special: two Rhinoceros beetles – the first ever found at the Trap Grounds.
