This week a Viking (Olaf) visited Yr5 for a day of character led learning. Olaf showed off his ancient artefacts and to discuss why Vikings left Scandinavia. Pupils, who were dressed as Vikings, rowed all the way to Northumbria and raided a village! Children stood in a shield wall with Oswald the Anglo-Saxon and experienced a battle that was drenched in drama!
