Today we were privileged to hear the tragic and touching account of John Fieldsman, a surviving member of the kinder transport community which fled territories controlled by Nazi Germany. Mr Fieldsman was honest, open and hopeful in sharing his fascinating life story. We are so grateful to him for sharing his experience and advice. Thanks also to the National Holocaust Centre for their session helping us to understand the changes which the Nazi party inflicted on the lives of the Jewish community during this time. It was a session which we all learned from and which none of us will ever forget.
