On Tuesday children from years 4 and 5 took part in a Wind and Brass day at the Dragon School.
The children worked with pupils from the Dragon School as well as other local primary schools. They were tutored by members of Oxford Philharmonic. The day began with some games to help the children focus on the skills they would need for the day. They then split off into groups to begin learning music which they would perform at the end of the day; none of the children had ever seen this music before. After several hours of hard work and determination the children came together to produce an inspirational performance.
Esther said ” It was an exciting day, I had so much fun!”.
