Wonderful Onesies on World Book Day

“Cool ears!” “Nice tail!” “AGHH A CROCODILE!” Year 2 was invaded by an army of children in a variety colourful onesies and pyjamas this Thursday as World Book Day descended on Phil and Jim’s school. The children were very excited to welcome parent story tellers to their class and listened with rapture as the they heard a range of stories from all over the world. Both classes were then keen to get in on the act and as always the children in Year 2 sprung to the task with great vigour and verve. First the children created stories in a jar which they later used as a prop to enrich the sharing of their favourite picture books with children in Year 4.
