On Middle-earth day, Year 5 dressed up as characters from The Hobbit. It was really fun! We baked dragon cookies and had a second breakfast, after which Gandalf came in to talk to us and we got to ask him questions. Gandalf gave us envelopes which had dwarvish runes that we had to decode. We had a competition between elves and dwarves. All of these things took place on 20th September 2023. In English, we have been studying The Hobbit so our kind teachers arranged this amazing day.
