Year 3 The Stone Age

During the Spring Term, Year 3 learnt all about the Stone Age. As part of this topic, Year 3 created some cave art handprints using charcoal and pastels. They also looked at some of the cave art from Lascaux and the different emblems used to represent animals and hunters. The children created their own version using pastels, charcoal and sand textured paper. Our final activity involved learning about Stonehenge and deducing what we thought its purpose was. The children then created their own Stonehenge using plasticine.
