Year 4 RE learning about pilgrimages

This term in RE, Year 4 have been learning about why some people may go on a pilgrimage. We identified what a pilgrimage is compared to a holiday. We are learning about a range of beliefs and their most popular pilgrimages.

Last week, we learned about the Hindu pilgrimage of the Kumbh Mela. Out of salt dough we made souvenirs that could remind a Hindu of their special journey.
