Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club is open to all Phil & Jim pupils.
We are open every term day and, in addition to an optional breakfast of toast, fruit and juice, we offer a variety of quiet and creative activities to begin the day, such as drawing and Lego.

TIMINGS: Breakfast Club opens at 8.00am with a 15 minute window for pupils to arrive. The gates will close at 8.15am, with no admission after this point. The breakfast club finishes at 8.40am, with pupils being sent to class.
COSTS: Each session costs £5.00, which includes a healthy breakfast.

MCAS – help guide
PROCEDURES: Parents must see their child onto the premises and ensure their child is handed over to a member of Breakfast Club staff who will then register the child.
BEHAVIOUR EXPECTATIONS: Parents/carers are asked to remind their child about the importance of good behaviour and support the school in managing poor behaviour choices. Our school Behaviour Policy will be followed in Breakfast Club.
Extra-curricular Clubs
At Phil & Jim, we want our children to enjoy as many aspects of school life as possible, including a range of opportunities beyond the school day.
We endeavour to offer extra-curricular activities to as many children as we can, catering for many different interests so that our children can develop in these areas, or perhaps try something that is new and exciting to them.

After School Club (ASC)
After School Club (ASC) is staffed by our own support staff and runs every day of term-time (excluding the last day of each full term, when school finishes at 1.30pm) from 3.20 pm for Years EYFS to 6.

TIMINGS: The first session runs until 4.15pm and the second session (whole session) runs to 5.30pm, with the exception of Fridays when just the one session runs until 4.15pm

BOOKING: Parents/carers must book all sessions through MCAS. (Please activate your MCAS login, which will be emailed to you from the school office team. Please ensure that you read our Terms and Conditions before you complete the registration – by booking you agree to our T&Cs.)
– Sessions are booked and payment is made through MCAS or by voucher. If you are paying by voucher please e-mail: office@philandjim.org.uk
– Parents/carers can book an ASC place for their child up to 1 day before.
– Parents/carers may cancel a booking with 7 days notice to receive a full refund.
– Parents/carers are responsible for informing the school office of any change in contact details.

PROCEDURES: Parents/carers must sign for their child on collection before they leave the building.
– End of full-term (Christmas, Easter and Summer): ASC will not run when school ends at 1.30pm.
