Thank you for visiting! I would like to extend a very warm welcome to Phil & Jim Primary School (Ss Philip and James CE Primary School). We are a happy and inclusive church school, located in the centre of historic Oxford. We back on to beautiful Port Meadow, Burgess Field Nature Park and the Trap Grounds: settings that offer endless opportunities for innovative learning.

- Pupils are proud to be members of the ‘Phil and Jim’ community, where they embrace the school values of love, compassion, and community. Pupils are welcoming and place considerable importance on being friendly to others. Kindness is evident during playtime when pupils across year groups use and share the equipment considerately. They invite others to join their play.
Ofsted, 2023 - The school sets a good example that state schools can match the best, and shows that, with the right support, children with additional needs can thrive and excel.
Parent, 2025 - I think some of the best things about this school are our diverse community. I also love all of the opportunities the school gives us. Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL) is also going well.
